Default Custom Fuel Cell and Radiator Modification

So I have had a lot of issues with fuel with my Turbo setup with E85. Between Fuel pressure dropping and only having a 11 gallon tank I decid to make everything simplified with external pumps and a gravity fed 15 gallon fuel cell. I drive the car very often I like the daily drivability factor of the car.

I have also added some photos of the modifications taking place for my radiator. The radiator is being turned sideways and pulled forward in order to retain the spal puller fan setup and actually putting an intake on the turbo inlet. Pulling the radiator setup forward like this cleared a good 2 inches of clearance away from the turbo manifold which should help with heatsoak even though this car doesnt go over 194 it will only help... particularly at idle...

Hope you enjoy the pictures. River City Speed in Richmond Virginia did the work.

How do you plan to bleed that radiator?

Did you consider going with a dual pass radiator?

It is a dual pass radiator now. He flipped it on its side and reworked the end tanks.

Any pics of the radiator installed? Seen this car in person getting tuned, clean set-up.

Yes, the dual pass setup is now in place which should make the cooling much more efficient. The car did not go over 196 on the dyno with the original setup (even without a fan shroud for the spal fan). I still have not added a shroud yet but hopefully the temps will stay closer to 190 now with the dual pass configuration and the fact that the fan is a little further away from the manifold than before.

No other pictures of the radiator other than the stuff I have already posted here

Thanks for the compliments on the exhaust. I wanted something different.

I like it. I have heard that you should never use a 90* fitting on the low pressure side of the fuel pump though. Fuel pumps aren't efficient at pulling fuel and you want little/no restriction on the low pressure side.

The Bosch 044 pulls fuel very well compared to the Aeromotive A1000 and alike. It won't be an issue.

yea i had this same concern myself but the bosch pumps are very efficient... i shouldnt have any problems... the fuel doesnt have to be lifted up like an intank setup because the fuel is sitting on top of the pumps so thats another benefit...

Cool, that's good to know. I'm sure this setup should take you to the next level.

Right, there is enough head pressure from the fuel.
