good info here. I've been doing some research on boosted cars with itr cams, and haven't heard anything but good things about them!

I just picked up some itr cams so I'm going to dyno my car with nothing different but the cams, and I will post the results soon.

But that's way out of my price range. I was just thinking of a T3/T4....but what kind?
Can someone give me a rough estimate of spool times and CFM on the various compressor sizes and turbine sizes of the most popular t3/t4s?

50 trim. Seriously. Although it may not "flow" as much as any of the others, its probubly the best non GT compressor wheel. It's extreemly efficent at low boost while still mainting efficency at 30+psi.

And its also good for 500hp.

i had a t03/04E 57 trim .63 a/r. id hit 10 psi at 4500 rpm and thats with 2.5" downpipe to a 60mm exhaust with fat dents in the piping. BTW this is on a stock b18c1.

I mean they produce power to 9k right</TD></TR></TABLE>

I stopped reading right here mainly due to my limited attention span

the b16 valvetrain will only be good to 9k like the type r cams are IF they are stable at 9k AND under the increased lift load the cams put them under.

I'm assuming that since the redline on the B16 is at 8-8.2k that the springs aren't stable at any higher rpm. If this is the case then you'll have valve float for sure what with the extra 1k rpm + higher lift load rate against the springs. that's a lot of extra force.

I'm curious if anyone runs this setup at this speed without problems.

They will make power past 10,600 if your setup allows for it.

Soley depends on the turbine, but with a .63 Stage 3 wheel it will be around 4-4500.
