crysler lanser 86 with aireasearch turbo?
I found a 86 crysler lanser and it had an air research turbo in it, I took a couple of stuff out and I saw no sings of oil leaking, no shaft play at all, i noticed like it doesnt spins very freelyyyyy, but it spins without problems.
Anybody knows about these turbos? What kind of flage they have? It looked like a T3 flange but I want to make sure. Id like to get it and use it for my crx sohc project.

thats a garrett t3 with a funky flange... 3 of the 4 bolts line up, the 4th is off by about 1/4-1/2"
EDIT: Also, that turbo would spool on your CRX around 2800 rpms, but would fall off around 6k.

Care to explain why it would do that? I've plotted a D16A6 onto a .50 trim compressor map - as well as run an LS off of a .50 trim Chrysler T3 w/ Ford .63 AR turbine - and have seen no reason why the turbo would "fall off" after 6K rpms.
