yes it would.... check crower.com for more iinfo... there's a reason for why they would make a cam specifically for turbo...

I used to run the 403's in my turbo setup and the idling sucked. It would die every now and then at a stop......Traded them for stock units and my ride idled better but lost top-end power...(That's why they invented boost controllers.....rite?!!!)

Stock LS cams: 185/187 @ .050, .395/.380 lift
Crower 404's: 216/218 @ .050, .446 .432 lift

Duration is less radical than stock VTEC cams but with more lift. They seem well suited to turbo apps if you're going to spin the motor hard.

As long as you have a good ported head and good valvetrain stuff I can't see anything wrong with 404's. HKS makes cams specifically for turbo motors tha have a fair bit more duration than the crower 404's.

I agree, everyone praises the gsr cam for boost but then shoots down anything but a "turbo" cam on an ls without looking at the specs. Something to keep in mind though is these cams are make the most power in the upper rpm range and an uported ls head is dying after about 6k.

Honestly I don't see why not.

HKS 272: 272 Advertised Duration, 9.25MM lift
Crowers: 249/251 Advertised Duration, 11.32/10.97MM lift

Less duration and more lift than the HKS cams. Isn't that what everyone pimps for turbo cams around here? Keep in mind that crower 404's are still milder than all the stock VTEC cams in terms of duration, just with more lift. People are making great power on stock VTEC cams, so why not the 404's? Stop second guessing yourself, run the 404's they'll work great.

I've heard great things about thoes cams and turbo setups... The lobe profile on the cams is a medium that gives improvements in both N/A and F/I setups. However, if you get a good cam that is specifically designed for a Turbo motor... you'll notice a big difference in spooling time, and pull.

However, there is alot to do with cam profiling, i've studied this for a couple years now... Feel free to ask me questions.

Here's for thinking

My only concern would be LSA between the cams, you can probably dial it out with a set of cam gears and - viola! Better idle quality.
