Default crome - uberdata .bin compatability??

well ive got a nicely tuned 3bar map .bin file in uberdata from my car last year. is it possible to open that .bin file using crome? i wouldnt mind making the switch but if i can keep my tune and not loose all those hours of work and dyno time that would be cool too... can it be done??

from what i've been told in the past. no

the use diffrent coding in the bin/program so it will be diffrent. you need to re-dyno tune.

hows crome with the sve 3 bar map sensor?? do you have to re-calibrate all the columns and values like in uber?

ive done a bunch of cars on uberdata, but im starting to get sick of it. sometimes the changes i make dont reflect correctly in the maps, getting idle to be mint a/f when hot and cold is a pain and the corrections dont work as well as i'd like. right now ive got a sleeved bored and built lsvtec that cost me months of pay, and i dont feel like havin **** happen because my program runs inconsistantly

You cant import in the fuel values because it interprets them differently. As for timing i really dont know for sure if they are the same or not. The best thing to do would be to start over honestly rather than trying to figure out how to transfer the maps over. Shouldn't take you any time at all to run through and redo the fuel maps.

Stop messing around and just get Evans to tune it with Neptune. Otherwise I see 84.5 in your future

Well since they both give you rough duty cycle %'s, I'd say get 2 maps on crome & uber to be the same DC, get the formula, then you'll be fairly close with the crome map. You'd have to change each cell individually, but its worth a shot. The only differences would be an overall fuel multiplier might be needed afterwards, and it might be too rich/lean on one end of the map (if your formula's constant was off a bit).

Its worth a shot. Otherwise you can't do much worse buy making your own complete basemap.
