Calm down.

Uberdata's datalogging is pretty buggy as soon as you switch it to a new wideband sensor. It works fine for the sensors provided (AEM, PLX and INNOVATIVE). If you can figure out how to wire the cable, and are using one of those sensors. Datalogging should work fine. It does for me.

You shouldn't be running a freeware software if you can't handle little problems.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, but uberdata datalogs fairly accurate when you get the right version.

As anything goes in the freeware scene you MUST read and keep reading. I spent probably 6 months just reading how things worked before even trying anything. If you want to dive right in, go ahead. But you will have problems and there will be more "uberdata doesn't work" Threads. When it is user error and the problems were fixed but not discovered because the end user didn't look for the fixes.

Yeah I'm not saying Uberdata datalogging is crap. I am the biggest Uberdata fan, but I can't edit the Uberdata source code so I made my own datalogging program. I would call the built in datalogging in Uberdata a 95% solution as the data is somewhat accurate but things like air fuel offset because the program doesn't log what your display logs and the map trace are not exact from my experience. The data is accurate in general, but I have been working to make it even more accurate. You gotta remember the ECU just gives out a value between 0 and 255, which represents the voltage it reads in, when you request the air fuel or the map value. Then you have to know what formula to use to convert that 0 to 255 value to a useful one such as 14:1 or 10 psi. Different widebands and different map sensors have different formulas. Some of the ones in Uberdata are not the most accurate and yes they can be edited in the script files but that is over some people's heads. The most important part of a good datalogging program is making sure you are recording the most accurate air fuel ratio you can in the correct cell in the fuel table. So that means your rpm, map, and o2 readings must be dead on.

I understand how it all works. I wasn't actually saying anything in general to your post. Becuase I know you have a lot of experience with the program.

I was following your posts on the forum. Do you have your program up and running yet? I didn't notice. I find the information accurate enough to tune a car and get a general idea.

My program is definitely functional. If you would like to beta test it just e-mail me or hit me up on AIM, and I will send you a copy and explain how it works.

You don't need Crome Pro to install the datalogging code into your .bin file. Crome Pro just gives you a program to actually do the datalogging and RTP, but there are other programs you can also use such as FreeLog to datalog.
