Default crap i think my rod bearings might have gone, what do i do?

i think my oil pump was on its way out and the recent turbo install was prolly the straw that broke the camels back, my friend/mechanic said we could replace them by removing the oil pan, but from doing a search it seems as though some people rebuild the whole motor, polish crank, etc.... i think i caught in its early stage so i may be good for now.

im no longer driving the car till i know for 100% sure, any advice ?

I guess it depends on whether or not the crank was damaged and you won't know until you pull the pan and the head. If it wasn't get some new bearings and oil pump and you're good to go, do the rings while you're at it. If it was damaged... bummer.

you cant see the crank from pulling the head unless you just bought those new APC clear see through pistons. You can repalce all the bearings except for the #5 main bearing because of the trany. Very tricky to do with all in the car. Rod bearings are easy with it all in the car though. And yeah, make sure the crank is still in good condition.

I think you should just rebuild it 100% ***** to the wall. This is a perfect excuse, I mean opprutunity.

theres a shop near me that does darton sleeves how do those compare to GE?

You can't but if you're going to replace the rings like I suggested in my original post you can't do it with by just pulling the pan.
