Default crank snout

Hey guys,

How important are those fine teeth on the crank snout? A while ago I had my crank bolt come loose and wobble around a little and filed down the the teeth on almost half of the circumference of the snout. After that the crank pulley had a little wobble and once I ever threw off the ps belt.

Recently I've thrown a bearing and was wondering if I should replace the crank, or save it if its salvageable with the whole snout deal, or replace just the pulley.

please let me know what you think.

Thanks

Default Re: crank snout (jspeedy)

Post some pics/specs of the motor so we can see what's going on. Sounds to me like you need to get a new crank and pullies.
