crank case question

so i am about to cut a hole in my BOV intake piping to fit this piece, is this correct? drill a hole, slash cut the tube and stick it in? I wont leak boost if i do this will I?

hell no! dont cut a hole in it! my opinion is just have a breather... it works... u dont want all that garbage going back into ur motor... whatever comes out of ur breather that is...

and as far as t.o.o.'s fraud *** web-site... i wouldnt trust anything he says

just food for thought if you really want to evacuate crank case vapour and create a vacuum in there do what nascar and top fuellers do, plumb that line from the valve cover into one of your primaries or downtube. I suggest this for race only and I would put an oil separator inbetween, this will give you some power also.

If you cut a hole, it needs to be preturbo. IE, between the turbo and the air filter.

im gonna run my car through emmisions soon. I've been told that the little filters or a catch can would not pass. So is it most peoples oppinion that running the lines back to the intake or, pre-turbo intake like 00Silver said, is a bad idea?

the catch can should pass. Your still running the crank case vapors back through the system. its actually cleaner this way.

but, yeah, if you want, you could just disconnect it for emissions.

ok, so my IAT sensor.........GSRs plug into the mainfold, however on the Si, it goes into the stock air filter box, but now that i have a turbo, where should i plug it in to read the correct temp?
