Default crack in exhaust housing

Is it normal for a stock turbo to have a crack in the exhaust housing of the turbo? Is it bad or should I not worry about it?

do you have the 5 bolt style flange exhaust housing? i've seen a lot of them have cracks (at the hole where it feeds the wastegate gases) and they run fine

YEAH! You can say that again. I have two of those things, the .60/.48 and .60/.63 T's with the 5 bolt. BOTH of those things are cracked almost identically. At first I almost thought they made them that way.

A better question would be, are any of them NOT cracked lol.

BTW i run the .63 and it holds and makes boost just fine.

a flex pipe could prevent it from cracking, i've cracked one before because i didnt have a flex, then got my new turbo and added a flex, no more cracks.
