a couple really easy questions

Default a couple really easy questions

1. what is the stock boost on a 98 gsx?
2. quick description on how to adjust boost on internal wastegate. i know you turn the rod but cant remember which way makes boost adjust up and down.

1. Computer controlled to somewhere between 12-15 psi. Stock gate is about 7-10psi.
2. Lengthen rod will lower boost, shorten rod will increase boost.

so the lowest boost i can put on a gsx turbo is 7 lbs.?

That would be a no. If you can adjust the length of the actuator rod you can go really low. i think if you open the wastegate all the way, i.e. no actuator, the boost will be 4 psi.

Remember, the stock T25 turbo on there does NOT have an adjustable length actuator rod. You gotta do that custom yourself.
