Default Could the drag wastegate placement cause burt valves???

I just got done doing a leakdown test on my drag turbo ls and I notice the valves are starting to burn up in cyl 1. nothing too bad I'm losing about 8% out the exhaust valves in that cyl.

The other cyls stayed the same since I turbo'd the motor. I was thinking what could cause this to happen???? I was wondering if the wastegate placement on cyl 1 is causing added heat or something to that cyl.

let me know what you think......
