Correct me if I am wrong.........
I am about to place an order for some spark plugs...R5672A-8. I am boosting 10psi on a built LS block with a GSR ported hear. The turbo is a 60-1. I am running BKR7E-11 right now. Also, what gap should I use for the BKR7's and the R567a-8's? I read that the correct gap is .35, for both. Thanks for any advice.
I have mine gapped at .28 (this is what AEM recommends for up to 20 psi of boost). I'm sure you will get answers that vary slightly. GL.
NGK says for every 50whp gain, should lower gap by .004 from stock gap.
And, for every 75-100whp gain, should go one step colder from stock level.
For example, my car is as follows:
Stock: 105whp
Now: 180 whp
Gap(stock): 0.044
Gap(now): 0.036
Level (stock): 5
Level (now): 6 (NGK BKR6E)
Car runs perfect.
