Default d16a6 mini me turbo

i have a d16a6 mini me turbo with fj custom rods and vitaira pistons. well the engine was built by a professional and its been 700 miles it was tuned and the engine broke in on the dyno. yesterday i lost coolant it came out of the overflow res. this happened to my old stock d15b7 to. im wondering if my stock half size radiator is too small and im boiling my coolant over? my stock water temp guage shows in the middle and hasnt passed that. anybody have any ideas? also thanks in advance.

Maybe bad radiator cap or head lifting. Off topic but where you got it tune at? Numbers?

around 200 it was tuned and full blown. this happened to my old motor that wasnt built too. i dont know if its a cooling system problem or not. could it be fixed with a dual core radiator??? cause i have stock one right now with stock fan.

I'm thinking since it did it before it could be the radiator fan isn't cutting on,or it's cutting on late due to a bad switch or faulty wiring.Do you have a new t-stat or did you reuse your old one? Like someone else said a bad rad cap could cause issues too.

it is a new t stat. i did have my car run and the fan did turn on. maybe the wiring is bad or something. im putting a new radiator in when it comes and im gonna wire the fan to a switch and keep it on whenever the car is on. is that a good plan to try and get this problem fixed?
