thanks
i was wondering the same thing. my car runs about the same. 210, but if im moving and not really boosting it runs a little cooler. im also using a low temp thermostat. i think its a 175 or something. cant remember.. dean
Yeah that sounds to high, its around boiling point of water, try a bottle of watter wetter, hope that helps, see if you can put your fan on a switch so you can keep it on untill it cools down, check that you timing isnt too retarded which can cause very high cylinder temp/pressure resulting in high coolant temps, if your coolant is old swap it out with a fluch and replace.
just guessing temps my # are all metric and dont feel like converting today.

210 degrees f isnt that hot, that is whaen my fans start to cut on so tha has to the factory operating temps, it is reall wierd, i can be driving along and the temp will go up to 210-220 and the all of sudden the temps will drop off to 180 in about 2seconds. what the f***k is going on?? air pocket?? head gasket??( runs to good through) how did you guys bleed your cooling systems??
