The one with the hose clamped to it? Get good coolant/fuel hose and run that port to one side of the IAC valve. The other end of the iac goes back to ghe water pipeb No need for any plug.

your using a vacuum cap, no wonder it keeps blowing, its not designed for what your trying to do.

Have it welded shut

Not trying to hijack but just in for knowledge, on my car the hose on that same thing is leaking. What exactly is the purpose of that valve? Would it be better for me to run new clean hose to whereever it is going or just weld it shut like others are saying?

I dont want to mess up a system that is working correctly unless it is not needed..setup is on a stock turboed gsr just incase it matters.

Thanks again and sorry if I hijacked..

if you dont have a welder, cut the barb off, drill it out, and tap it with an NPT thread, like 1/8 or 1/4 looks right.

If you want to plug it without welding it, use a small piece of good quality hose and stick a nice fitting bolt in one end and use worm clamps to lock it down. I tried a vacuum cap, and was dry rotted befroe I even had a chance to run the engine. Good thing I noticed it before startup, could of been messy.

It's there for a reason.
