Who cares what your race car ran on slicks!?!? You ran 13's with a sleeved and built block, 20 psi, and nitrous on a b16 w/ standalone. You should be dragged out back beaten senseless, there are people that run 13's w/ b16's that only have i/e/h.... unless your b16 is in a odessey minivan i think your a disgrace to honda tuners....sorry for being a dick..lol

110mph trap is weak for a sleeved b16 on juice and 20psi... My friend's turbo GSR put down 411whp and ran 11.90@119mph... And he doesn't have half this guys parts.
Oh yeah, and john brown sucks ****!

what did john brown do to your block that a local machine shop or even yourself couldn't do? I hate seeing people get ripped off by that guy.

Welcome to the board Saso, nice to have another Trini on.
But I have to agree, I hope you are not running 13's on the setup listed... hell, I'm good for 13's with much much less and NO vtec.....

Re: Cool my block is ready. (X2BOARD)
whats up! Good to hear from a fellow trini. The car runs 120mph with the slicks on
usually about mid 12's with full body and sport susp. X2 board is right we have no dyno here so it's difficult to tune. John Brown has been doing some work for me for some time now and he's a good engine builder. I bought his old chassis which I put in my own b18c into. The last time the car ran we did a 10.59 with a blown headgasket and massive loss of power. I ran it recently again just to test at 15 psi in which we did a 11.00. The chassis is great. I'm sure to do 9,s if all goes well in the next meet. Just to mention, I have been racing turbo'd hondas for a few years now and I notice that the added displacement on the b18c goes a loooooong way. The b16 is fun and is also fast, but no match to the 18.

sometimes **** doesnt work out as planned for people. dont knock him because hes not doing the times he "should be". it's a lot of work to go fast, all easier said then done. so please give this guy a break and help him with some tips and stuff.
at 20lbs, do you think maybe you could be loosing boost somewhere? loose clamp? holes in the intercooler perhaps?

sometimes it just annoys me when people say "youve got this n that but only ran xx.xx?" anyone can say they bought this n that and it should go 9.xx's but reality is, not everyone can do that. if htat was the case, then everyone in the quick classes will be running 8's with jojo.

Re: Cool my block is ready. (sparkz)
Truth is I know why the car only does 13's on street tyres. Not to sound like a snob but there are a couple reasons that anyone with a lot of power will know about. 1st, more power dosent mean faster times. Fast et's are relative to power and traction, if you have more power than traction then you ain't going any faster.
Infact more power could= slower times if the car isnt driven correctly, but at 20 psi I burn 24' slicks in first and second. To give you an idea, with street tyres I usually get about 2.50 60 ft times...thats bad. Another cause for my bad times are a lack of dynos in Trinidad...we tune on the seat of our pant. The last reason is that the track we run on is an old airport runway... It has bumps, no sticky compound, nothing. But we still have a lot to learn, thats why I ask questions on this forum and I'm always learning new things.

It was 94 today where i live. And nearly 100% humidity after all the damn rain...
That's cool though, i can understand it being hard to tune a car in trinidad. Someone needs to invest in a dyno over there. They could make alot of money if they're is demand for a dyno.
