Default controlled boost creep!

well thats what I call it.. I finally fixed my BOV problem and i got my boost gauge in the car so I was able to hit .3bar finally.. I put a bolt in the top port on the tial wastegate and was able to get .4bar out of it.. It never goes up over .4bar so ive left it in for now till I get a boost controller.. I know u r not supposed to do this but since im only hitting 6psi even when its 50 degrees out i decided to keep it in.. Could this cause any damage to the wastegate or any damage anywhere else in the system?

You are going to over-rev the turbo and damage it. Fix the boost problem before you go doing stuff like this. Plugging the top port on the wastegate will prevent it from opening.

this is what i was afraid of.. I did fix my boost leak and if u wanna know how I fixed it you can IM me.. its the little stupid things that stump u is all i will say.. anyways Would the boost leak be causing the turbo to overrev or the fact that I put that bolt in the wastegate cause that..
