Icon2 Compressor Map

After reading the FAQ how to read a compressor map I decided to map my own set and attempt to find a good compressor for me. But Im a little confused and hope someone will help.

I calculated my Mass Flow Rate at 60 lb/min and my pressure ratio at 3.43.

When I plot these on any compressor maps I see that I have to run at least a GT40 to be in the efficient zone. Which I thought was was to big, I was thinking maybe a GT35. Are there factors that I am leaving out or that I miss calculated. Let me give you numbers so you can tell me if my calcs are right. I just used general numbers given on the FAQ.

hp goal flywheel = 500
a/f = 12
N = 7800
Vd = 140.3cc
VE = 92%
Tm = 130
Wa = 60
BSFC = .60

If your not trying to do 500whp on pump gas then there is a wide variety of turbos that will get the job done.

500 crank is going to net you about 420-430 whp and thats attainable on pump gas with a 62-1 or sc61 or some of the new borgwarner stuff. and some other turbos. you dont need a gt40 just contact a turbo dealer and they will give you the info your looking for

Your engine and max rpm are also not accounted for here. for 3.43PR, that is over 34.7 to 34.8psi of boost pressure. I don't think that's what you're trying to get here.

Give me a PM, with all your listed numbers, as well as your engine displacement (engine type would be best)
-Horsepower to the WHEELs that you're looking for,
-What purpose you're using the car for. (street/strip, circuit race, etc)
-Also let me know what flanging (T3 or T4 , or T4 Divided) and exhaust downpipe bolt pattern (4 bolt, V-band) etc.
-Do you want journal or ball-bearing cartridge, and do you know what is involved in each?
-Budget.
