Default Compressor housing - good to rotate?

I have a garrett t3/t04e turbo and I just wanted to make sure if its ok to loosen up the compressor housing and turn it so the outlet is facing a different direction? This wont ruin the seals or anything will it? what about the center oil section also, can you rotate that too? Thanks
