compression results
I did a test today at a buddy's house, I got the following results.
Cy 1 - 117
Cy 2 - 120
Cy 3 - 117
Cy 4 - 117
Now, these numbers are low - obviously - I was heart broken when I read other peoples results but started to see how they tested it to begin with.
My friend insisted on letting the car sit for 3 hours to "cool" down. From what I read most people run it warm. We only cranked it 3x, from what I read most people crank it 5-7. It was not wide open throttle as well.
Should I just take it to a shop and get it tested or should I just assume had we done it like most my numbers would be what most people get. Everyone says as long as the numbers are the same across the board I should be fine. Keep in mind I plan on rebuilding the engine regardless, but it would be a month after I get my turbo installed.
