Default Compression ratio for supercharged B16

I have a B16 laying around and some LS pistons. I have a GSR head that has been milled .037" and I was planning to use it with a JRSC. Would it be beniffical to install the LS pistons to lower the compression and raise the boost to 10 or 12#? The compression would be 9.1 to 1. If I usd the B16 pistons and a thicker head gasket the compression ratio would be 10.2 to 1 and I thought it would be safer to run the added boost on a lower compression engine. I don't want the car to be a dog at the lower compression though. Anyone ever tried this?

at 10 lbs of boost, the more stock compression of 10.2 to 1 would more ideal, with propure tunning.

Go with the higher compression. I build supercharged motors between 10 and 10.5 to 1.

Thanks for the info. Guess I stick with B16 pistons.

Ya go with the B16 pistons. I had a friend with a 2000 SI stock motor with a JRSC @10psi and the jackson racing ecu and fuel system and his car ran 12.9 on slicks.

if you want to make real power with the jackson supercharger use 11:1 pistons and low cool boost and good tuning. this will net you the most power for the buck!!!
