Default compression questions on turbo d-series

i had a d15b turbo @8psi tuned with chrome by dynotuned ran a 13.003 @ 106 mph... pretty impressive sohc...and spun a bearing on sunday..... no i swaped in a d15b1 from a ef and it runs super rich and bearly idles... i have my old d15b head and timing belt so i can do a mini me to bump up the compression... only prob is motor has 200k on it and i have a feelin the rings will go... but i also can get a d16y8 cheap and swap that in... my question is which one will go decent with my tuning... closest to my d15b.... the stock b1 aint cuttin it i need more power... thanx

I'd go with the y8. Either way, you need to adjust your tune.
