Default Compression Question...

Well I have to get my head milled due to what looks like a tiny tiny chip on the outter edge of the head. I don't really wanna lower my compression to much and I was thinking of going with 10:1 because dameon has those in stock for his group buy. Since my stock compression is like 10.2:1, I was gunna go with 10:1 but because my head is going to be milled should I go lower or not? How much do they usually take off? My other question is I want to run 15psi so is 10:1 a good choice because I think 9:1 is to low...I dont know im lost someone help me out....my goal is low 12 high 11!

go 9:1 if you want to boost high. I decked the head twice and block and went with 9:1 compression on a b16a, got 333whp. Reliability his great. Running 18psi to 8000rpm with hondata stage 4.

10:1 is a very good choice! Higher compression will help you spool your turbo faster! However since you milled your head, your compression will be higher then 10:1. Try to get something with a 9.8:1 .

<--- 10.2:1, 81mm + 21psi = 426whp

GL with your setup, keep us posted.
