Default Compression problem.

I plan on boosting my ZC so I did a compression test.

cyl#1-180
cyl#2-155
cyl#3-175
cyl#4-180

ok, #2 is low, so I did a leak down test to see where i was losing the compression and it seemed fine with 120 psi going into it, no more hiss than any of the other cylinders and I couldnt tell at all where it would be leaking. Anyone have any ideas where I could be losing the compression or another way I could check to find out? thanks.

I know #2 is low...but it's still in tolerance (all cylinder's need to be within 20% of each other)

Nah its not the headgasket, i would lead more to a valve or just waekening rings.

**** i have been running 10psi on a stock b16 with under 120psi in all cylinders and i am fine......... for now

I checked all the valves to make sure that it wasnt an adjustment that was causing a leak, they were all adjusted correctly, so its either a valve not seating properly or yeah weakening rings. oh well, boost will bring that compression up.

boost it till it pops, then find out why it had low compression!

we did it the old school way.... air line directly into the spark plug hole. Heard some air coming out the oil cap, thats it.
