Compression on a LS/Vtec

Default Compression on a LS/Vtec

I did a compression test and got 150,145,145,150.. this is on a b18B1 block with a B16a2 head.. what do you guys think?

You cannot compare compression numbers with any amount of accuracy. The elvation you're at, barometric pressure, temperature, how long you crank the motor for, etc, can all have a huge effect on what your compression tester reads. As long as all the numbers are within 5-10% you're gravy.

Was this at normal Operating temperature?

They seem close, but a little low...

as logn as it even across th cylinders you should be happy. there is alot variances that can cause low number such as guage and air elevation etc. but with those numbers across the board looks okay
