Compare My Datalogs: Before and After 255lph Install
Here were my datalogs before I installed the fuel pump. These were at stock boost 10psi creeping to 13psi near redline.
I will give you 2nd and 3rd gear pulls for simplicity.
2nd gear:
Began at 4875 rpm ended at 7250rpm
Began with 0 knock, 9 counts beginning at 5968 rpm and plateau at 12 counts till 7250rpm
Timing began 20 deg dropped to 15 degrees at 7250
O2 began at .76 volts and peaked at .86 volts
Injector pulse began at 15.64ms and ended at 16.92ms
Air temp began at 107deg and ended at 104deg
Coolant temp constant 189deg
O2 trim constant at 99%
3rd gear:
Began at 4812 rpm ended at 6687rpm
Began with 0 knock, 14 counts at 5593 and plateau at 27 counts till 6687rpm
Timing began 20 deg dropped to 10 degrees at 6687
O2 began at .90 volts and dropped to .71 volts at 6687rpm
Injector pulse began at 15.64ms and ended at 18.71ms
Air temp began at 103deg and ended at 97deg
Coolant temp constant 189deg
O2 trim constant at 99%
Now here are my datalogs AFTER I installed ONLY a Walbro 255lph fuel pump and Blitz SSBC boost controller. The boost was now set at a constant 15psi.
2nd gear:
Began at 4750 rpm ended at 7187rpm
Began with 2 counts knock, 0 counts right after all the way until redline
Timing began 16 deg, rose to 17 deg 7187
O2 began at .94 volts and stayed exactly .94 the whole way
Injector pulse began at 20.00ms and ended at 23.077ms
Air temp began at 84deg and ended at 82deg
Coolant temp constant 187deg
O2 trim constant at 99%
3rd gear:
Began at 4718 rpm ended at 7031rpm
Began with 4 knock, and dropped to 0 and stayed 0 until redline
Timing began 16 deg and rose to 17 degrees at 7031
O2 began at .94 volts and stayed constant to redline
Injector pulse began at 16.41ms and ended at 17.692ms
Air temp began at 82deg and ended at 76deg
Coolant temp constant 187deg
O2 trim constant at 99%
Look at how much adding that fuel did for me!!! And this is with the stock FPR and no fuel computer. I love it. I am going to try raising boost to 17 and then 18 psi and see how things go.

Did you do one test during the day and one at night? There's about a 20 deg. difference in air temp from before and after. That will change the fuel map a little.

It was a little cooler last night than the last time I datalogged. But having warmer air wouldn't make me run leaner. It may make the knock count a little higher, but not lean it out like that.
