With the turbo itself? Engine problems caused by turbo? Or both? The question is vague, what do you mean more specifically?

Ok....try a search for turbo (insert motor here ex. b16) or something to that nature, and see what problems you find. But off my head, there are:

- Not enough knowledge of how turbocharging work
- Increased chance at detonation
- Tuning problems
- Finding correct exhaust for your setup
- No support for boost, such as no upraded fuel or engine mangement
- Improperly sized turbo for engine or application

Hope I was some help

problems are usually with the owner, not with the turbo setup itself...

being cheap is a big thing... not spending the proper money on a good tune..

Buying cheap parts to save some money, when you have to replace them in the long run anyways...

Proper knowlege and research is key
you shouldnt be expected to know EVERYTHING, but there are some things you should know and understand before tackling the project...

hope this helps...
I bet anyone on here that has a boosted car can tell you things they would do better next time around... Ive had 3 different setups in my car now, each year.. and im learnin constantly... makin life easier in the long run
