broken ringlands on 3 of the 4 pistons.

I have a b16 with a drag gen 3 kit, afc and fmu . was running 10 psi

Yeah the AFC is bad news. The problem is that timing isnt corrected with the AFC, so detonation occures pretty easily unless you are on a somehwat conservative tune depending on weather, gas and so on.

why would this effect it ?
i mean the gasses do cause det but the FMU is a factor i wouldnt look past

Theres this thing called timing. Its just as important, if not more than air/fuel ratio.

thats not bad then

my only lasted 3months
was at the dyno rasiing boost to 10-12psi and it blew at the end of a run
