Coil and MSD cap damaged???

Coil and MSD cap damaged???
I looked at my red MDS external coil cap today and found this....
The inside part of the coil tip is pretty much burnt. then the coil itself looks pretty much brital
what is the cause of this???

Are you refering to the lower tip, or the middle tip that actually make the contact? It looks like your center tip is fine, but the lower metal tip is corroded. But then again your camera's MACRO mode owns you, and I could swear that looks like a watermelon. 
If you're saying the external hole in the cap where the coil's main wire goes into is burnt too, I'd say you're having issues with the wire moving around too much from the wire beign too tight, or the metal tabs are just too loose.
My guess is you'll have to buy another wire and cap, or go back to an OEM coil/cap.

Yeah my camera does sux. But im refering to the bottom post. Its like black and corroded. Any clue of the cause??? Im pretty sure I need a new cap and coil but I was wondering if there was some random reason this happen that I have no clue about.
