Code 9 on a boosted b16
Hey everyone, I have tried on the EF forum without really much luck on this so I was hoping maybe someone over here might be able to help, if this isn't the correct place, please move if needed. Thanks.
Issue: Getting code 9 (#1 Cylinder Position Sensor).
91 Civic hatch DX turbo b16 converted to OBD1 using Xenocron Distributor and ECU adapter.
Car was converted to MPFI when I got the car. Code was not thrown when I got the car which at that time it was an OBD0 b20.
Since I have converted over to OBD1 I have been throwing Code 9. I have done the following things as per the threads I have found to solve the issue:
Purchased a new Distributor from RyWire (2 days old)
Swapped out with a known good ECU. Currently using a chipped VTEC ecu from phearable.net
Swapped out the distributor adapter.
Followed the factory service manual, using the old distributor, I got 354 ohms of resistance at the distributor and at the wires that go into the ECU C1 and C2.
I have changed out the ECU for a known working one, as it had no problems running my buddies z6 turbo EK (using my basemap)
I have absolutely run out of ideas on what to do to get this code to go away as I would like to get my car tuned but can't due to the fact im throwing a CEL that is important. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thank you in advance!
