Default code 43 + detonation

what are the causes of code 43 besides a faulty o2 sensor... there are absolutely no odvious problems with fuel pressure, the pump, fpr, injectors... car detonated in 4th gear at 7000 rpm and 5500 in 5th.. 1-3 runs fine... have had cft, hdm, mazworx, sfp all tell me that they have no idea what could be wrong... the tune has been perfect for 3 years so i highly doubt its a tuning issue... I NEED IDEAS...

new map, new fuel pump, injectors flow perfect, diaphram on fpr is ok, whole igniton system is fine from msd box to coil to wires all tested.. problems started when i replaced pump with same hp pump...tps calibration is good... no other codes besides 43..

since ur throwing a 02 sensor code, how about replacing the o2 sensor? u replaced /checked pretty much eveything else besides the obvious. Just a thought, but sometimes its easy to look past the most obvious.

o2 sensor is disconnected from the hondata unit... ive taken the o2 sensor out all together and plugged it with absolutely no problems... ive read up on this and the o2 code comes on when there is an excessive amount of carbon from the engine running rich... also the code for a bad o2 sensor has never been thrown either... im looking into possible causes for code 43 besides the o2 sensor... ... ive gone to the best of the best from orlando to tampa to miami and talked with the best honda tuners and its agreed its not a tuning issue, but nobody has any idea at all... 4th 7000 5th 5500.. 1-3 perfect no detonation

White plug on the back of the intake manifold, or possibly on the top, usually right front, drivers side. I looked in the wiring diagram for 02 sensor to figure out where the wires went, looking for an open wire. I would suggest doing so with your engine, as it seems Honda tends to splice with other sensors, hence why i had that issue. Good luck!!

it seems that there are wires connecting the sensor tot he harness already, there looks to be two cut wires that have no place to go... i dont see them going directly to the ecu and the harness doesnt look cut at all...an y ideas
