Default Code 43 anyone??

well, not a week after running my drag III...i flash a code 43 every now and again..like improper fuel or something, how can I test to see if my fuel pump/injectors are working properly..the fuel pump turns on. I checked my plugs, and they look kinda charcolish..no white spots or anything. I did a search, and some people had an o2 sensor problem..I think that the clip melted on my downpipe when it was not clipped in, i had to sand down the melted plastic to get it to go in...when i buy a new o2 sensor (if necessary) is it the sensor all the way up to where it clips in??BTW its a 94 del sol vtec

Code 43 is the primary O2 sensor. Charcoalish = too much fuel, or your O2 is bad. New O2 sensors will come with a new connector(from Honda anyway). A plugged cat will mimick these symtoms too.
