I have 91 CRX VTEC (B16A) Turbo boost 15psi and having problem with code 3, i'm using missing link for the map sensor and Super AFC for fuel mangement.
so what could be the problem?

 

I think the Missing Link is only good for about 12lbs of boost. Also, if you're ADDING fuel with the AFC, that will increase your MAP voltage, and it may cause a MAP sensor code if you're adding more than about 10% or so.

 

You're at 15 psi and only using a SAFC for fuel management? Upgrade to Hondata or aem ems.

 

it was working perfectlly for about 7 months with boost 18psi too until i changed my ecu to an automatic transmission ecu. vtec starts at 4500rpm cuts at 7600rpm and speed limit of 180 km

Do you have another map sensor you can try? The missing links are not rated at a specific boost level to fail at.

I'm wondering if its your settings on your AFC. remember, if the Map sees anything over 3.0v it will throw the CEL, does it come on all the time? or just as soon as you boost?

Is the car an automatic?.If its not then change back to a 5 speed ecu for starters. Just curious why you went backward witht the ecu.

 

If the ECU has been chipped with a manual program, what the ECU is originally for is irrelevant. It does make me wonder why you switched ECUs, though.
