can someone explain how the hell this happened to me?????????
here was my situation....
"I installed 450's and smc and car wouldnt start..so changed out 450's for another set....caught for a second stumbled and died.. so uninstalled 450's put back stockies, rewired everything.. turned smc to 0 programmed it..car still wouldnt start..so now i take off smc..car finally starts then dies so i try again coaking it to life with the gas pedal..running really rough, start pushing gas and a really hollow sound starts coming like a HUUUGE vac leak or something freaky..let off gas car dies..now it wont start anymore anyone got any ideas what could be wrong???car was running fine before smc and 450 installation...now it wont run at all "
now here is what I did today..... got a brainstorm..use one of my extra injectors from my ex intake manifold hold it free air and plug it in, see if that lil pin moves or anything when i crank car..well...so i do that with one..car started i think but i was focusing on injector and **** wasnt moving so i told mom cut it..move to different injector pull the plug plug into my free air injector tell her go and car starts right up...i'm dumbfounded ..idling lil weird..i says..hmm cut it..so i put back injector clip and tell her go..car starts like a champ once more..what the heck!!!????? did I let the fuel pressure out of my system wrong??i undid gascap and took off the line from filkter that bolts onto rail... my dad thinks i bled the system somehow... if it matters the first clip i took off was the brown wire cap..next was the third one which i think is blue..this is freaky and i need it to be explained so that when i reinstall my 450's it dont happen again...

WTF were u talking about in that 2nd paragraph? geeez!!
i would have said you bored the inner dia of the injector seals out to much but hard to say. that could hae caused the hollow sound

basically in the second paragraph i unplugged one of the injector clips and hooked it up to an extra injector which i was holding in my hand and the car started right up after i did that for a second time...
as for the bore out theory..i didnt touch my seals

so the car started with you holding an injector in your hand, dry firing?

I think what happened was that you fouled 3 or 4 plugs, and it would hit and miss occasionally on the plugs after that. Then, once you were experimenting to see what injector was causing an issue, cranking it over and over cleared the plugs because you're back to stock fuel setup.
It finally ran because you cleared the cylinders of the extra fuel that you dumped in with the SMC and big injectors, allowing the plugs to finally light off the air/fuel mix correctly, further clearing themselves with ever cycle of the engine.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

highly possible..noticed that the smc does not affect the fuel until car is actually started...not sure how i am supposed to use it then as i was told i cannot start my car without fuel management for the 450's....and with the smc its like starting it without fuel management is it not?
