damn motor, LS built from bottom up with my custom turbo set up is throwing a code 3. IT idles at 2k RPM constant and wont seem to lower itself even after long idle period. I tried lossening the throttle cable and adjusted the screw on the TB, still didnt work, then tried adjusting the damn distributor but that only made it go to about 1800 RPM still steady there. Any other suggestions. Thanks

 

I think Code 3 is a MAP sensor problem. Im about 90% sure that is what the code is. check out the connection of the map sensor and see if its ok.

art it is the map sensor seal, i did try cleaning the connectors and stuff and even tried another map sensor from my old motor. Damn things still idles friggin high though around 2k steady.

Are you sure that you're not throwing more than one code? check the code again because you might have more than one. Does the idle bounce or does it stay high?
Check you IAC or the fast idle thermal valve.

I'd say IAC valve. I had a similar idle problem but I didn't throw a code.

 

I will chech the IAC which is a code 14, but the only codes i throw is one for the O2 sensor which I kow why since its not on there and a code 3 which is the map sensor. I think I will try replacing the TPS and see whatsup with the damn thing.
