Default Difference between code 3 & 5

I have a 2001 h22 in my 90 accord.

The guy that put it in there tried to run it off the map on the throttle body. This resulted in a code 3. Map sensor code

I took it off and plugged it into the map that is stock on the accord. One the firewall behind the throttle body. The code disappeared but now the car runs rough. Now vtec works and the car can rev past 6k. The car doesnt want to idle and tries to die.

after I let it idle for 2-3 mins the CEL goes off again. This time though its code 5. MAP sensor code.

What is the difference in these map codes?

are your vacuum lines connected properly? Code 5 means theres something disconnected, but the sensor itself is ok.
