Default Code 13 on VAFC Hack???

The first night I ran at the track on the afc hack, about my 3rd run, the cel came on and it was code 13, Barometric pressure sensor circuit. Is this problem just a result of using the hack or is there more too it. I was running about 5 lbs of boost when it happened and it has never gone away since. If I reset the ecu, it will eventually come back on a few miles down the road.

When i had this code a few years back the barometic pressure sensor on the chip board was damaged, I eventually had to find another ecu.

would this just be a coincidence that it happened the same time I started to use the hack? the ecu is in a 2000 civic Si. I wouldnt think this should be a problem

I got the same code the other day on my 99 Si, but on the Greddy Blue box. Shouldn't cause any problems, just reset your computer and you should be good.

baro sensor won't affect anything it just goes on since the map voltage is different than the baro sensor. just periodically check your code to make sure that's the only one you have. mines on all the time for baro sensor.

I know for a fact that the car is running to rich...I am waiting on a few things before I tune the car, so its just overly rich on the hack. I also have the code 45 for system to lean/rich.

Thanks for the help,
Craig

I have messed around with the fuel a little here and there, but i have it set at -41 for idle then about -43 or -44 the rest of the way. The car backfires a little from being rich, but if i lean it out anymore the car has a tough time idleing????

Is this normal?

13 is pretty common with the hack on obd2 cars. to get rid of it, go obd 1 or standalone. You should be able to play with your setting to keep it from coming on allso.

You're throwing a baro sensor code because the hack is cutting your MAP signal. When the ECU compares the pressure the baro sensor is seeing to what the MAP senor says is atmospheric, it sees a large discrepancy and thinks something is wrong with the baro sensor.
