Default Code 13-Barometric Pressure Sensor. On boosted 2000 civic.

Ok, I'm at work so I can't go into tons of detail but I'll try my best. Setup is as follows:
2000 civic ex
15g greddy kit intercooler
afc/rc 440's, vortech 12:1, custom map sensor bracket (map sensor doesn't see much boost)

Ok well everytime I get on it on the third trip, it throws the CEL. It's a serious pain because being the person I am, I check to see what it is everytime the light comes on. Is there anyway to avoid this? I've been told "it's the nature of the afc hack" even though I'm not really hacking much (AFC isn't really seeing boost). I can go into detail and post a picture of the map sensor later. There's a tee fitting that screws into a plate that replaces the map sensor, and my BOV vaccum line runs into it, and the other line runs from the bottom of the map sensor to this "replacement bracket" (for lack of better words). I've tried searching the past couple of nights but couldn't come up with much. I appreciate the help.

Your barometric pressure sensor is built into the ECU -- You can see it if you take the cover off -- shouldn't have anything to do with your MAP sensor; it is used to determine the air density (for different altitudes).

...and now that i think about it, you're OBD 2 -- I doubt they changed it that much, but that's all true for OBD 1.

usually the sensor is just trying to adjust with the pressure around you.

Try this,

Put the car at idle, shift to 2nd or 3rd gear, and punch it, let it build a lot of load and Don't stall it.

Restart the ECU and see if the CEL come back on. You just want the sensor to calibrate and go back to normal, there's no physical sensor that can be repalced or check.

Chip your ecu and disable the PA sensor... Done and Done. If you want more info contact me through PM or my website http://www.efituningforless.com

Well it was 4th trip this time, 3rd that I went hard on the throttle.

Anyone else have any reccomendations? I don't want to pull the CEL itself out.

I found I was getting constant CEL 13's when I had my turbo on. I just left the paperclip in the jumper. So I could constantly see my CEL's. I already knew of two constants 13 and 63. Instead of constantly rechecking, I would just leave it jumped to see if any new codes came up
