Coat or heat wrap?
I'm going to be putting on my turbo kit soon, and was going to just heat wrap the tubular manifold. However, after thinking about it, maybe it would be best to get it heat coated (jet coated?). Would heat wrapping it lower the temp more than coating it, and does the coat ever wear off?
Would it be pointless to coat it AND heat wrap it?
Thanks for your opinions...

I had my exhaust manifold, turbine housing and wastegate thermal coated. I thermal wrapped my downpipe and dump tube; dump tube goes past the oil pan

So why did you coat instead of wrap most of your parts?
