Default Heat wrap for downpipe?

I am using a a spoolin downpipe in my setup. In the setup I'm still using a/c. Would it be wise to heat wrap my downpipe? or anything else. or just let it be the way it is? Thnx for any help.

I would heat wrap the manifold before I heat wrap the down pipe.

This is true if your manifold is shitty . You are right in thinking this though. However, a quality made manifold would take the heat cycle.

Yeah they would stay hotter.....so what, this is post enigne which is why you take Exhaust Gas temps anyway.....for the engine itself.

Yeah go ahead and wrap them up. Under hood temps will drop, but the downside is that moisture gets stuck in the fibers and will corode your pipes a lot faster then normal.

You can use high temp silicon spray to help with the corrosion. Higher exhaust temp=higher thermal energy....which is the actual purpose of the turbo!

Heat wrapping my downpipe really helped keep my intercooler from getting heat-soaked, In stop & go traffic my intake temps are way down
