Clutchnet Chatter! Arghhh!
I had a clutchnet stage II installed on my turbo LS about 1500 miles, and it still doesn't engage smoothly. Some days are better than others, but I still get some chatter, especially in 1st and 3rd gear. Any ideas on what to do (other than replace with a better brand)?

if it squeels.. push it in and pop it back out real quick... it should stop... the squeeling occurs when you try to slip it...
(i was told this by ACT when I called them..) this was on my ACT 6 puck unsprung XTR6

Slightly OT, but here is my ClutchNet 6-Puck Sprung setup after 1 Month worth of driving...
I couldn't believe it when i took it out, but it completely tore up my flywheel, pressure plate, and itself...

Re: Clutchnet Chatter! Arghhh! (Jamison)
I had a Clutchnet Stg II, 6 puck sprung and it chattered and was hard to get to engage quietly. It did hold well. When I replaced it, I noticed the disc wore very fast, just like the pics above.
I got an Action Clutch 2MD 6 puck unsprung and this thing is easier to engage, holds like a mother and makes no noise!!!

Damn. 1-2months of using your clutchnet stage II's and they're toast? I've had mine for 20,000 miles...still going strong. I drive pretty hard too.

I think it was Rocket who said the pad material in the clutchnet clutches are too tough for honda flywheels.
Thats why I got a clutchmasters this time around.

my fidanza flywheel was fucked up as well when they took my motor apart. It went to the machine shop to be fixed though and reinforced.

Re: Clutchnet Chatter! Arghhh! (C-Redrum)
Damn, I just sent pics of my clutchnet flywheel, pressure plate and 4 puck sprung disc to clutchnet. I told them that I need to get a new disc and replacement of the flywheel. Egor is suppose to get back with me soon. I will let yo know how it turns out.
*Same thing happened to like 3 more of my friends car's with clutchnet products. Who are they going to blame it on? the flywheel, pp, disc? all clutchnet. Don't get me wrong they work great but its a lot of wear and tear for a clutch used so little.
