I think this is way too light for a turbo, try calling JUN usa and ask them how much their forced induction light-weight flywheel weighs. When it comes to flywheels you definately can go too light, use JUN's weight to help guage what weight would be good for you.

I have a Clutchmaster flywheel on my N/A GSR and I dont have any problems with it at all. It only feels a some different from stock and no drivability problems what so ever.

I have a clutchmasters and will be adding a turbo, so far it is very driveable, very little difference from the stock flywheel, and yeah I think it is funny how they are suppose to make the best stuff.
One big thing that lured me to the clutchmasters was that I did not have to alter any of the teeth on the ring for the starter.

what are the downsides of having too light of a flywheel and would it have a greater chance of wrapping with daily driving?

somebody told me something about being too light can cause the engine to out-rev the turbo, or something like that, like you would have to shift before you hit full boost, but that doesnt make any sense to me, maybe they meant you wont stay in the boost as long? ive actually been thinking of getting a LS tranny anyway, and using my FD and 5th gear. this type r tranny may be good for road courses, but i dont have alot of time at full boost.

Idle can be a little goofy at times. I was playing around with this last night. If I had the headlights on, was rolling up/down the windows, and turned on the A/C, the rpm would bog way down and almost stall, but not quite far enough.

Tonight I'm going to do the same, but be moving the sunroof and have high beams on too... want to try and stall it, for fun.

This is mostly just from electrical demand being too much for the alternator to handle at idle, and the A/C being on doesn't help. The flywheel just makes it more evident (I have the CM flywheel).

When driving, this might make it easier to stall when engaging if you don't give it enough gas, but how often are you taking off with headlights, A/C actively using windows/sunroof and not giving it enough gas all at once?
