Clocking turbo help?
I need a little help here. I was clocking my turbo and on the compressor side it came off after turning it a little bit. There was a orange rubber ring in there. I don't know what it is. I think it is maybe a gasket but it is cut in a like 5 different pieces. Turbo is a precision sc6152e turbo it is a brand new turbo also. Thanks

You probably clocked the housing and it got pinched somehow. When I was figuring out fitment and needed to constanly clock the housing I took it apart and put some silicone on it so it wouldnt cut/tear.

The weird thing is there is a small piece missing. I cant find it anywhere. Im not sure I understand the last post you used just silicone or you used silicone along with the o-ring. Yeah I had the bolts all the way off. I know that is where I messed up and thats what I get. Last question where can I get one and how much.

oops sorry about that.
I meant to say that I used silicone spray on the oring so that it would be nice and lubed since I kept turning the housing figuring out fitment. NOT silicone as glue but the spray lube.
Call the manufacturer of the turbo if you cant find that Oring locally.
