Default Clocking a turbo

I need to clock my t3 turbo and I've done the compressor side and need to do the exhaust side. It turns but brings the center piece with it and I don't want the center piece to move. Can anybody help. I've loosened the bolts but the center piece moves.

you may have to pry off the exhaust housing to turn just the center. I had to use a bench-vise and a pry bard and about 10 minutes of working back and forth...

Okay so I get the exhaust side off? Theres one bolt that won't come off cause the oil flange gets in the way.Do I just save that bolt till last and take it off while prying on the turbo?

I had that same prob, you just have to work around it...get all the other ones off, then screw that bolt in as far as you can without it putting pressure on the seal, then try to pry it back and forth with a bar and get it apart just a enough to rotate it, then you can take that bolt off to take it apart, or just put the other ones on...when I put mine back together I put the metal "C's" on in such a way that the unaccessible bolts were on the open ends, so I could just take the "C's" off withouth removing those bolts...hope that made soem sense?
