Which would you rather do
I have $1500 in my account right now for me to spend, should I:
(a) begin a turbo system for my stock nissan 240sx KA engine, even though it is automatic
OR
(b) purchase a CRX with $1000 and with the other 500 beans drop in a 1995 GSR motor (i have it set up already, it will cost me exactly 500 dollars to drop in a bone stock '95 GSR motor)
note: if choice b is pursued, i will have my every day driver car (240sx) still stock and just have the crx "for the weekends"

Re: Which would you rather do (inspyral)
i figure that would just set me back too far (money and time)...then again, there are sr20det automatic trannys (Super Street January 2002: "Hot Wheels" pg 62 - the owner of Pacific Rim has an S13 89 240sx with sr20det auto swap-- " When asked asked how it drove compared to other SR-powered 240s, Jerry said,'It pulls pretty well. Compared to other 240s that are manual and have the swap, im not that fast. But against the KA's, Im pretty fast')
also, the article stated he had problems with the US auto tranny and Japanese auto tranny, but its unclear.

http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.NET The site just got moved to a new server but they say the archived material might be tranfered over soon. From what I've read the AT to MT changeover isn't all that hard. And just think about it: Torque+RWD=donuts

Are you saying you have a GSR motor already? The SR20 is tempting, but a 13 second car for $1500 is pretty sweet, especially becuase you will still have the Nissan. Or, you could sell the Nissan and put the money towards a turbo for the B18C.
