Default Clevites are they any good?

Hi,

I brought a set of acl bearings of the internet but have been told there on backorder and have been offered clevites. This is the first time i've heard of them, are they any good?

Thanks

Nath

I ran clevites in my last build and the motor is still running strong making 600whp daily driven. I put about 10,000 miles on it and then sold it and its probably close to 30k now... Interestingly enough, they are manufactured using the same tri metal structure as OEM bearings.... If I didnt already have a set of ACL's, I would be using Clevites in my new build too....

I've used Clevites, they measure out a little loose, which is how I like them.

clevites and acl ar both very go and well back ground company..
I use ACL because clevites are hard to get ahold of around here.

Did you get the P bearing or the H bearing? The rod bearings we run is a Clevite Part # CB1777H on the LS/B16 cranks and the CB1785H for the GSR/ITR cranks. As for the main bearings im using the ACL race bearing lately.
