Default Clearance Issues with inlinepro?

while reading another post I came across another problem with boosting and thought I would ask...
Inlinepro - t03/04e - b16 - fmic

Will I have clearance problems. I would not look forward to grinding my block. Also would the 5 bolt vs a 4 bolt make any difference?

5 bolt fits fine. Depending on how you clock the turbo you might not even need to shave the block at all. 4 bolt, well, you would have to grind the hell out of the block to make it fit.

I didn't have one problem And I have a/c powersterring everything, even cruise control (that's not in the way) but point being just depends on how you clock it!

Mine is a 5 bolt, inline pro, sc34 combo, we didnt have to shave any off the block. Like chris said it's all on how you clock the turbo.

Experience here with an Inlinepro mani and 4 bolt turbo on a B16A which is 7mm shorter than B18 blocks you will have to shave ALOT or use another exhaust mani flange and still cut. 5 bolt I belive works no problem, the turbo I had at the time had the 4 bolt . Remember though again the B16A is 7mm shorter than the B18 blocks so it makes difference.

I just test fit my sc61E with inline pro manifold on a b16. It won't fit. Need to grind the block. With a smaller turbo, it will.

I was going to buy a used Inline Pro Manifold, but I was told buy the seller I'd need to shave my block due to it being a b16, he was using a b18.

The deck height of a b16 is shorter than b18 and b20. Just get the manifold, run a smaller turbo and clock it at the right position.

It's not hard to shave off, should only take a few minutes.
