I use it. The local track won't let you run coolant in your system when drag racing so I switch in the summer to distilled water + water wetter (to keep the water pump lubricated). As far as its cooling properties go, when the system's bled and the car's running right I've never seen the coolant temps go above halfway, even after 2 hours sitting on the freeway in bumper-to-bumper traffic when the temp's above 30 degrees Celsius. But then my car's not very radical either.

1-2 drops of liquid hand soap instead of water wetter does practically the same thing and saves you 7 bucks... this is and old trick... seriously.

Agreed. First time I had heard about this was over at EnDyn (theoldone.com).
Google for 'surfacant' for more information.

People use water wetter in there water-cooling setups in computers. And yes I've heard the dish-soap trick, but it does also foam, and you have bleed the system, I think I remember.
As for mixing the water wetter, and redline, and coolant, I think that is a HORRIBLE idea. You have no idea how mixing those chemicals is going to react!

Alot of guys on the domestic side run water when (made by redline) with their coolant and have great results. I've never had a car than ran hot so I never used it.

First off, you didnt search. There are 22 different topics.. anyways..
It works well, very well. I dropped 15 degrees right off the bat. After about 7 or 8 months though the temp slowly started to come back up to what it was before. But it is still 10 degrees cooler now then before.
