Default cleaning a turbo???

just curious, whats the best way to go about cleaning a turbo, intercooler, piping, etc. what kind of solvents or solutions should i use to clean the build up out of the pipings and turbo?

I would recomend brake parts cleaner in the aerosol can. works like a charm to remove most residues i.e. oil build up, grease, carbon, etc.
If you plan to clean the turbo internally do not do anything without rebuilding it or at least remove the housing you plan to clean. If you don't it'll remove the **** that is built up and let it run into places you dont want it. it works fine though to clean the inside of your charge piping and such as it leaves behind no residues.
oh yeah don't use this stuff on anything that is rubber or plastic as the methyl hydrate or achohols(depending on the base) will dry it out.

gas works niec to clean IC pipes.. also dish soap.. "cuts grease fast"
